Keith Bachman is an investor with more than 30 years of experience across the global fixed income markets, highlighted by a specialization in leveraged finance, including high yield bonds, leveraged loans and private equity financings.  During his career, Keith managed institutional funds as a portfolio manager and earlier on as an investment analyst, spanning the financial products of public mutual funds, hedge funds, collateralized-loan obligations (CLOs), segregated mandates and Luxembourg-registered funds for overseas investors.

During his institutional investment career, Keith worked for several blue-chip financial institutions, including T. Rowe Price, OppenheimerFunds, Stone Tower Capital (Apollo Global Management) and most recently at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he helped to finance leveraged-buyout (LBO) transactions, as well as to primarily small-to-mid cap, non-investment grade companies.  As Head of Global High Yield, Keith was responsible for the creation of the company’s first stand-alone high yield business, developing an in-house investment process and team from scratch, attracting more than $1 billion in new U.S. and global high yield capital, leveraging the firm’s substantial overseas distribution footprint. Keith earned a BA in economics from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and an MBA in finance and accounting from Columbia University in New York City.
